THE LOST POET: WALTER RHEINER DOCUMENTARY

The Lost Poet is a documentary in the makings on the life and work of Walter Rheiner, author of Cocaine.

Written and produced by the German artist Karmers, it promises to become a truly fascinating work, covering Walter Rheiner’s rise and fall among the avant-garde circles of Berlin and Dresden, as well as investigating the subsequent fate of his widow Fo, who survived her husband by 55 years and died in New York in 1980.

November Editions is grateful to the filmmaker for allowing us to add English subtitles to this trailer and make it available to English speakers. So please, take five minutes and sit back to enjoy this little gem – with hauntingly beautiful music by Ingo Ito and impressive performances by voice actors Ulrich Tukur, Marc Bator and Helmut Krauss.
